I probably shouldn't call these extensions, but for this purpose, they are extensions of the basics as I'm describing them here.
The first word I'm describing is the word, “you”.
Most every English speaking person knows this one;

However, this is one I learned in elementary school. What do you call a ‘female sheep’?
A what?
A ewe, you say?
The above is a ewe and her baby lamb (dont pronounce the ‘b’).
Definition of: 'ewe' is: ''. Learn more at: 'https://www.dictionary.com/browse/ewe’.
Since speaking the two words sound alike, I like, on occasion to spell it, “How are ewe?” 😋
…just wait.
The next word is another common word: new.
If you're like me when I was in elementary school, you may be asking, “what other way of spelling this can be drummed up?”
Two more ways!
My typical way was (not is, now), “what's gnu with you?” (yes, you can say, what's gnu with ewe?, if ya wanna). So what's a gnu?
THIS IS A GNU.

Yep, still pronounced the same…
Oh!
One more!
Here's one you may like, although most people you know will have to learn this before you get them used to using it.
It's short for, “what's new?”
So how do you shorten that?
Nu?
Before I get to the definition of choice, here are two other definitions for you to see. Both are below although thrre are two defininitions immediately below:
Here is the last one.
Don't laugh too hard… 😆
The way I learned to use this was when a friend would ask, “Nu?”
I learned it's short for any version of ‘so?’
‘What's new?’
‘Well?’
Etc.
Well, I hope ewe learned something nu today!
😁
